I knew it was hard work running a farm, but never I knew it was hard work running a farm, but never expected to experience it first hand. Fuerteventura has easily become one of my favorite places and when I discovered @viatortravel had a tour that would allow me to learn the ins and outs of goat farming I immediately booked it! Fuerteventura is famous for their goats and cheese. They have won many awards and their is even a cheese route that will take you to some of the best dairy’s on the island. Anyway, I never expected to have the opportunity to work on a farm and I have to say it was actually quite fun. My favorite part was playing with the babies. I do realize working on a farm is way more work than what I am showing and since I paid, I only got to experience the fun bits. I absolutely love historical reenactments! Yes, I I absolutely love historical reenactments! Yes, I am someone that will seek out medieval and Viking festivals and travel someplace just to attend them, and most of the time I dress up in character. Needless to say, when I discovered Barcelona had a castle in the center of the city with dinner, a sword fight, and a fire show I booked my tickets right away. The castle is called Palau Requsens and is only open for events so it was the only way I could tour the place. The only thing missing was my full medieval attire.
