This is probably one of the most vulnerable things This is probably one of the most vulnerable things I will ever post, but I feel like I’m at a point where I need to say something.
So it’s been awhile since I shared anything on the So it’s been awhile since I shared anything on the feed, but wanted in on this trend because I think it’s so cool! Now I know the trend is 2026 being the new 2016, but honestly 2016 is not a year I wish to repeat. Anyway, here to the future!
Welcome to my Turkmenistan series!!!! Where I will Welcome to my Turkmenistan series!!!! Where I will take you around this beautiful country and show you everything I got up to on my eight day tour. #turkmenistan #offbeattravel #travelblogger
Did you know cats have their own house in Valencia Did you know cats have their own house in Valencia? It’s designed in a classical Valencian style with a tiled roof and a little fountain. This house allows the street cats of Valencia to have a rest without all the annoying humans gawking at them. Sometimes you can see the cats go in and out. I was not so lucky, but regardless it’s pretty cute! 📍Cat House #valencia #valenciaspain #cathouse #valenciatravel #travelblogger
Honestly, I have found the restaurant of my dreams Honestly, I have found the restaurant of my dreams! La Majada Queso in Valencia offers a cheese special where you can try as many cheeses as you want! I spent a good few hours here stuffing myself with all the cheeses I could stomach. If unlimited cheese isn’t your thing, they also have menu of cheese based dishes you can order. 📍La Majada Queso Hi! I’m Marika and I am a clumsy travel blogger that posts fun, unique and sometimes quirky things to do. Follow @clumsygirltravels for more!
If you love vintage cars, you need to check out @c If you love vintage cars, you need to check out @crankshaft.cafe in Caoe Town. All the menu items are named after cars so I of course had to purchase the best one: a rolls royce. #capetown #capetownsouthafrica #capetowntravel
Welcome to @forries_sa one of the oldest pubs in C Welcome to @forries_sa one of the oldest pubs in Cape Town! This pub dates back to May 1852. It became an important stop for traveling traders to refuel on food and beer. If you visit, definitely plan to come on Sunday at 12 for their Sunday roast. It’s the first Sunday roast I’ve had in ages and did not disappoint! Fun fact: foresters arms has a Guinness world record for selling the most beer on the southern hemisphere, so it’s safe to say this is a pub that many people love and travel from all over the world to visit. #capetown #southafrica #capetowntravel
@mzansirestaurant was so much fun! I arrived with @mzansirestaurant was so much fun! I arrived with a huge smile on my face and left with an even bigger smile. We arrived to a local band playing where we then were taken to a large table before the hostess with the mostest came out to let us know what we would be eating. We had about 10 different local dishes including chicken, chakalaka, beef stew, unquasho (samp and bean), crispy potatoes, Malva pudding just to name a few. After we ate, the staff got us up to teach us some traditional dances and songs. We even got to try playing some of the instruments. Make sure you email them in advance for availability, especially during busy season. They don’t take walk ins. It costs 385 Rand not including drinks. #capetown #capetowntravel #uniquerestaurant #langa
Cooking classes are one of my favorite activities Cooking classes are one of my favorite activities when I travel. I don’t cook much when I travel because the cleanup is generally not worth it. I found @faeezashomekitchen when I stopped there on a food tour. I didn’t know this at the time, but @phil.rosenthal went here on his show Somebody feed Phil. I should have known because I love that show, but anyway I saw that she offered cooking classes so I booked it! We learned how to make traditional cape Malay food including curry, chili bites, samosas and roti! I also recommend stopping at her restaurant for lunch if you don’t want to do the cooking classes, but the class was so fun! The class cost 700 Rand and is cash only, so don’t make my mistake and have it ready. I was frantically looking for an atm. #capetown #capetowntravel #cookingclass
